Ellie cultivates a number of beautiful private gardens and grows seasonal flowers, available to buy as bouquets throughout the warmer months. Ellie brings a holistic, intuitive approach to her work, and her expertise shines most in historic gardens — where she can honour and build upon the work of those who have shaped the landscape before her.

Approach

I take a natural and sustainable approach to gardening whenever possible, guided by the belief that a healthy garden is a beautiful one. When we work in collaboration with nature, rather than against it, we create spaces that not only thrive ecologically but also nourish our own well-being.

Process

The gardens I care for are free from pesticides and maintained with a gentle, considered approach. The cut flowers I grow in Hastings are cultivated using organic methods, with respect for the land and its rhythms. I currently grow my blooms within The Yard, a vibrant artist community in Hastings.
