Natural Dye Studio
We create unique hand dyed textiles, clothes and accessories using natural dyes that have been lovingly crafted with traditional techniques and natural fibres. Our dyes are developed with foraged plants and flowers from our own dedicated biodynamic dye garden in Sussex. We use time-honoured processes that are completely natural, slow and sustainable, and work exclusively with natural fibres such as silk, linen and wool. We are passionate about working in harmony with nature, in celebrating the changing palette through the seasons, and creating a connection to nature through our work.

BOTANICAL DYER & GROWER
Ellie Gill
Ellie Gill is a flower grower and artisanal dyer creating one of a kind textiles and bespoke pieces using traditional methods and natural fibres. Working as a biodynamic gardener in Sussex, Ellie grows a dedicated dye garden and uses her plants to create seasonal natural dyes.
Following a career as a natural make-up artist and holistic therapist, Ellie’s passion for plants and working in harmony with nature inspired her to study horticulture and develop a natural dye studio.
Her process is slow, sustainable and gentle on the earth. Each piece she creates is a work of art – a delicate painterly impression, imbued with the life and colour of her garden.
