Walking into The A.S Apothecary shop is therapy in itself. Every time I visit the shop the flowers and herbs adorning the windows change with the seasons and fill the air with their scent.
I’m always banging on at how amazing this company is but it really is special. Many of the flowers and herbs used in the products are grown locally and the skincare is then made in small batches by hand downstairs at the shop.
The atmosphere in the shop is so relaxing and everything has been designed or the best relaxation experience ever. I can’t begin to explain how soft and fluffy the towels on the couch are!
It’s a family run business, run by Naomi and Alan Murray.
Naomi’s sister Sophie is a herbalist and also works within the shop. Both of the ladies are extremely knowledgable in natural health. You could even say it’s in their blood as they come from a long line of medicinal herbalists.
It’s really handy to be in a space sells wonderful remedies and where my clients can get advise on various health issues.
Bonus tip there is free parking outside!
Yoga Place E2 Bethnal Green
This is a very new location for me.
I looked at lots of different treatment rooms in the city and none of them were quite right, often bring too clinical, chilly or just not quite friendly enough.
From the outside it’s very understated but as soon as I walked through the door the scent of incense made me feel relaxed. Trudi, the studio manager has such a warm, friendly manner and the decor is nice and cosy I knew this was the place for me!
It’s the oldest yoga studio in East London and it’s wonderfully zen you almost forget you’re in London!
